Well-well-well…another fabulous collection of songs from our one and only Clay. Seriously – although all of these titles might be songs that we have heard before, one time or another,but Clay puts his personal touch on each and every one, making them sound fresh, new, and of course wonderful, like the artist himself. He is not only getting older he is getting better – just like most of us. You can actually visualize his emotions, and his phrasing, each time you listen to one of these hits. My personal favorites are What Kind of Fool and I, and also Breaking up is hard to do, but that just means that to me, they excel over the other remarkable choices he chose to sing for us. Do yourself a favor – go buy this CD right now – for yourself, for a friend, for a neighor – they will not be disappointed. See you all in NYC when Clay comes to the Hammerstein Ballroom on Aug. 11 – at 8′oclock. I am counting down the days until I see him again – this will be my 8th time, and I can’t wait.
